Books - I used Mostly for Studying during preparation for JEE. Personally I spent a lot of time in solving and reading books apart from Coaching Material.

Advice:- I like much of Solving a book which is in Paperback form not Pdf type. Because I tried to solve some particular problems from a pdf book, I noticed I couldn't complete it.
These books also help me to get AIR-1 in JEE-Advanced 2020.
You have to be persistent to secure a decent rank in the Exam. So the books mentioned below are only focus on IIT-JEE (Mains+Advanced)

Ashish Arora is good too.

Narendra Awasthi for Physical Chem. practice

MS Chauhan for Organic.

SL Loney for Coordinate Geometry And Trigonometry.

Before buying a book for JEE, you should look at this list again.
Don't buy a book, because your friend has it, I believe that when you buy like this, then you don't complete that book.
